San Jose Bocce Court
This garden space was created to replace a pool that was no longer functional. I designed a bocce court that fit the long, narrow space, and included a deck for guests to watch the game and enjoy snacks.
The white wall of the house reflected a lot of sun, so I chose bougainvilleas to cover some of the wall and soak up that sun! The remaining walls are redwood fencing, and I chose Boston Ivy for its lush green leaves (and red fall color), and Star Jasmine for year-round greenery and fragrant spring and summer blooms.
